GROW|FOR|IT is now able to grant tax reductions for Danish taxpayers

Dear GROW|FOR|IT members and donors.

Thanks to your contributions, your memberships, and to SKAT’s handling of our application, we have achieved the approval according to the Danish Tax Assessment Act § 8A.

§8A is the clause in the act that grants tax reduction for donations to organisations and associations that work for the common good. This means that now substantial donations towards balancing of CO2 emission can be deducted from income just like donations to other charitable associations. The above applies to Danish taxpayers only; other national exemptions may apply in other countries.

Karen and Svend give their grandchildren lifelong CO₂ balance for Christmas

Karen and Svend give their grandchildren lifelong CO₂ balance for Christmas

Karen and Svend Thomsen of 90 and 89 years, respectively, have decided to give their grandchildren a lifelong CO₂ balancing through reforestation. The trees will through their growth capture the amount of CO₂ which their grandchildren have emitted and will emit, until the green energy transition is a fact.

So, now Vanessa, Fiona, Benedikte, Andreas, and Konstantin can continue their lives knowing that their grandparents have balanced their CO₂ emission, until we are free of the fossil era.

GROW|FOR|IT thank Karen and Svend for the fine idea of grandparents buying lifelong CO₂ balance for their grandchildren.

New Zealand’s government launches 1 billion trees programme

New Zealand’s government launches 1 billion trees programme

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has set an ambitious goal for the country in the effort to reduce global warming.

New Zealand plans to use reforestation as a means to remove some of the large amounts of CO2 emitted to the atmosphere. Under the “1 Billion Trees Programme” prime minister Ardern’s government promises to plant 100 million trees every year for ten years. The government wants New Zealand to achieve zero emmissions by 2050.

New Zealand is leading the way for the rest of us with it’s grand tree planting plan!
